Alchemy Network Monitor 5.2.13

This application will constantly monitor all of the servers on a network, and automatically notify you whenever problems occur. Alchemy Network Monitor supports most types of vital protocols and services, including TCP/IP, ICPM, IPX/SPX, Oracle Server, MS SQL and more. It's also capable of Monitoring disk space, checking file existence and reading NT Event logs on local and remote systems. New features include: "Max.check length" option in the TCP/IP, SMTP, NNTP, Telnet, IMAP check types; The bottom log pane of the main program window now contains the server history tab for the selected server; The server check type selection combo now contains different categories.

Alchemy Network Monitor can notify network administrators in a number of ways. The program may automatically notify you via e-mail, SMS-formatted pages and even through ICQ. If multiple users need to be informed, Alchemy Network Monitor may utilize WinPopup or NT/2000's Messenger Service. Unlike the servers it monitors, the program is flexible and easy to configure. You add new systems by inputting information into a tabbed dialog box, such as server type, IP address, username/passwords and other pertinent parameters. It can send notifications whenever a server crashes or "wakes up" and play custom sound effects. It will also run up to three programs when an event occurs. Though Alchemy Network Monitor is automated, you may run checks on-demand.

Alchemy Network Monitor generates a series of text-or HTML-formatted reports. These log files may include a defined set of details to cover event log and server error statistics. A server availability report and statistics-based log are available as well. This shareware version is fully functional, but expires after 30 days.
